Crater Lake National Park

We moved to Crater Lake National Park on Sunday, July 23.  What a beautiful park!

We spent Monday at the south rim, stopping at the visitor center and the lodge.

On Tuesday, we explored the east rim, stopping at Vidae Falls and hiking to Sun Notch.

The Pumice Castle. It's the peach colored area on the right side of the photo. There's a closeup below.

On Wednesday we explored the west rim and found our spot to set out our beach chairs for the afternoon.

This was the view from “our spot”.

On Thursday we hiked to Plaikni Falls.  We also hiked the Castle Crest Trail which is known for its wild flowers.
