We camped at Wawona Campground in Yosemite from June 1 to June 6.

Start of our hike up to Vernal and Nevada Falls.  You can see Yosemite Falls in the distance.

Josh and Camryn joined us for three days and four nights.

The brink of Vernal Falls

Vernal Falls - The mist and wind were so intense on the Mist Trail it was like walking through a hurricane.  We were soaked within minutes walking past the falls both on the way up and the way down.

Half Dome

We moved to North Pines campground on June 6.  We were lucky that our campsite was in the small section of the campground that wasn’t flooded.  This is a road in the campground.

On June 7, we headed up the Four Mile Trail to Glacier Point.  The morning started out clear and sunny with wonderful views from the trail.  This is El Capitan.

Sentinal Rock

Then clouds started rolling into the valley from the west.

By the time we got to the top we were completely in the clouds.  Josh is demonstrating the wonderful view of Half Dome from Glacier Point.

The next morning Josh and Camryn headed back to San Franciscos to catch ther flight back home.  Donna Sue and I rode our bikes around the valley.  This is Mirror Lake.

The lower pool of Mirror Lake is more like a river right now with the water levels so high.
