Seattle, Whidbey Island and the Olympic Peninsula
We left Mount Rainier on September 28 and headed for Whidbey Island. spent two nights at my sister's place on Whidbey Island then headed to Ethan and Stephanie's home in Seattle, where we stayed until October 10. While in Seattle we visited wineries, went apple picking, rode our bikes to the Seattle waterfront and around Lake Union, visited the National Nordic Museum, visited Bainbridge Island and ate at many fabulous restaurants.
After our time in Seattle we went to back to my sister's place on Whidbey Island where we spent a wonderful week relaxing with some easy bike rides and hikes.
Here are some photos from our time in Seattle and Whidbey Island

After Whidbey Island we headed to the Salt Creek Recreation Area on the north side of the Olympic Peninsula.
